You do not have to enter a complete address each time in the shipment entry mask, it is sufficient that you e.g. just enter a postcode or free text.
Using the settings in the shipment type, you can design the shipment input screen so that you can choose in the “Sender/Receiver” fields whether you want to use an already created address, only a zip code or a free text as the sender/receiver.
Define an already created or new address as sender/receiver in the shipment:
To be able to select an address that has already been created or a new one, enter a minus sign in the first column. You can then search for all addresses that have already been created in the sender/receiver dropdown and create new addresses.
Define a zip code as sender/receiver in the shipment:
To be able to select a postal code as the sender/receiver, enter the two-digit country code of the country from which you want to select the postal code in the first line. The prerequisite is that the postal codes for the country are created in the system. Otherwise, the next variant “free text” applies, see below.
Define a free text (zip code and city as free text) as sender/receiver in the shipment:
To be able to enter a free text as sender/receiver, enter the two-digit country code of the country in which the address is located in the first line. The possibility of entering a free text only appears if there are no postcodes in the system for the selected country, e.g. China etc.
